The purpose of the processing of personal data

Kerättäviä henkilötietoja käytetään

• Moodlen käyttöoikeuksien hallintaan,
• Moodlen edellyttämien yhteydenottojen mahdollistamiseen
• oppimisen ohjaukseen/opintosuoritusten arvosteluun Moodlessa.

Palvelun käytöstä lokiin kertyviä henkilötietoja käytetään

• palvelimen ja tietoliikenteen kapasiteetin seurantaan
• teknisten ongelmien ja väärinkäytösten selvittämiseen

Personal data is used for

• user authorization in Moodle
• making it possible to contact users of Moodle
• management of learning and grading of students in Moodle

Personal data in the log files of the server is used for

• monitoring the load and capacity of the server and the network
• working out technical problems and investigating abuse of the service

Seuraavat tiedot noudetaan kotiorganisaatiostasi suostumuksellasi aina, kun kirjaudut palveluun:

• EPPN (eduPersonPrincipalName)

Following information is fetched from your home organisation on your consent every time you log in to the service:

Henkilötietoja säilytetään palvelussa kunnes 18 kuukautta kuluu viimeisestä kirjautumisestasi.

Personal data is stored untill you have not used the service for 18 months.

Principles of protecting personal data

Tietoverkossa siirrettäessä henkilötiedot on suojattu SSL-tekniikalla.

Henkilötiedoista palvelimelle syntyvä henkilörekisteri on suojattu ylläpitäjien henkilökohtaisilla käyttöoikeuksilla.

In the service the personal data file is protected by personal user accounts and authorisation of administrators.

Henkilötietojen säännönmukainen luovuttaminen

Regular transfer of personal data to third parties

Käyttäjän nimitiedot näkyvät muille oppimisalustan käyttäjille. Käyttäjä voi halutessaan näyttää sähköpostiosoitteensa muille henkilöille sekä täyttää profiiliinsa itseään koskevia lisätietoja, jotka näkyvät muille oppimisalustan käyttäjille.

Muuten henkilötietoja ei luovuteta kolmansille osapuolille.

Moodle users name will be shown to other Moodle users. Moodle user can select if his/her email address will be shown to other Moodle users. Moodle user can add personal information to his/her profile that can be shown to other Moodle users.

Otherwise personal information won't be transferred to third parties.
